About The Author

Dr. Spyridon A. Plakoudas currently works as a researcher and consultant in the Hellenic National Defence College (ΣΕΘΑ). He holds a PhD in Strategy from the University of Reading, an MSc in Strategy from the University of Aberystwyth and a BA in International Relations from the University of Panteion (Greece). He writings can be found in Greek and foreign journals, including the Journal of Small Wars and Insurgencies, Studies in Conflict and Terrorism and the Middle Eastern Review of International Affairs.
