Description:
„Ï Assisting selected communities in identifying and registering food aid beneficiaries in a fair, transparent and participatory manner in accordance with set registration criteria and procedures
„Ï Ensuring that humanitarian assistance is provided on the basis of assessed needs and the principles of humanity, neutrality and impartiality
„Ï distributing food aid items to registered beneficiaries in a participatory, orderly and controlled manner and ensuring efficiency and timeliness of the distribution process, that each beneficiary gets correct quantities of food rations and signs for food received in the appropriate register
„Ï Keeping accurate records of food distributions, compiling and submitting daily, weekly and monthly distribution reports
„Ï Providing checks and balances in the food aid registration and distribution processes
„Ï Assessing the adequacy and efficiency of targeting, obtaining information on the use of food aid; assessing beneficiary/community satisfaction with registration and distribution processes and detect related shortcomings
„Ï Checking on adherence to food recipient¡¦s entitlements, familiarity with food basket and ration, adequacy of food received, investigating and reporting on any incidents encountered in the food aid management process
