That’s right - IJ is still giving away awards

This year, we just gave away over $1,000.00 to Malou Innocent (1st Place), Surkhab Peerzada (2nd Place), and Luna Ross (3rd Place). Be sure to check out their pieces on IJ

For those of you just joining IJ, don't worry, awards are ongoing

Aside from the Amazon, Apple and iTunes gift cards that we give away for free throughout the year, we are also giving away three top prizes for best pieces at the end of each year.

Starting with the Feb/Mar 2010 edition, the three top awards will be designated for IJ articles only, not opinion pieces – don’t worry, we’ll be giving away something for those, too.

Think you belong in the top three? Go for it! What do you have to lose? It’s easy – simply email us your paper and we’ll take it from there.  

IJ will also be giving away an award for ‘best blog’. Again, what do you have to lose? Just start writing, make sure people are ‘following’ your blog and constantly update it.

Remember to share your articles, opinion pieces and/or blogs with friends, whether by email or whatever outlet you use.

Why do we do this? Publishing work and getting names out there is what we’re all about. Simple as that.
